Living things are my favorite subjects to paint and draw, with dogs unquestionably leading the list. My parents had a kennel when I was growing up, and while I often tease my mother by telling people that “I grew up in a kennel,” it feels true. My family included many brothers and sisters of the four-legged variety. I currently know more dogs and cats in my neighborhood than people (although perhaps I shouldn’t admit that in public!).

My art is in collections worldwide, from Australia to Canada, to New Zealand and the U.K. My art has been published in many forms – prints, cards, even t-shirts and hats. I donate my art frequently to animal rescue organizations for fund-raising. It is exciting to me to send my art out into the world and think where it may live.
