Lunch with the Three Amigos

This time of year is spectacular in Atlanta. There is absolutely no way to do justice to all of the beautiful greens in the landscape. But it does make for a good excuse to get out and do some landscape sketches in my car at lunch.  They're very quick to do, but fun. Due to this economy, there are more and more empty buildings in our office park. But give me a paint kit, some sunshine, and birds chirping, and I don't mind a bit. Economy? What economy?

  2. LOL! Thanks Kathy. I think it should be called "auto de plein air" but I am terrible at French accents. Where's Dreama?!

  3. Awesome Monica. How about "lunch-scapes"? Has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Keep up the good work. I work in the historic district of Ocala - many beautiful old homes and landscapes but I'm usually too busy to do any lunchscaping. Keep up the good work.

  4. Lunchscapes! That's perfect. No French accent required, either. ;-) I usually have to make myself take the time, Lisa. I have a painting kit I keep in my car and can get setup quickly. If needed, I can even squeeze out my paint the night before, then clean up in the evening.
